This is the first draft of my new double page spread.I have changed style and theme from my original double page spread to make it fit in more with the dance music genre.
The problem with the first draft of my double page spread was that the story did not really tie in with the images I had taken and the model I had used did not suit the genre of magazine.
For the new double page spread I have changed the model as I think this person fits in better with the style and genre of the magazine. I have chosen to dress the model like this because in other dance music magazine the artist are all dressed in a similar way and have all taken on a more indie style of dress.
After looking at some of the other double page spreads I will use another style to make a new double page spread more related to my theme of dance music
Ryan, I like the idea of your double page spread. The picture on the right hand side, stands out and I love how you've used props to your advantage to put across to the audience that it's a dance magazine. In addition to this I like the lighting of the image since you can see the sun shining through behind him.
ReplyDeleteAs for the left side with the writing.. I like the background behind the text. The only problem that I think may occur is that the rest of the story may be difficult to read since you have used black and white.
Overall I really like it :) so well done and keep it up :D
